Our mission: rally investments of time and resources to support academic success in the Saint Paul Public Schools.

Grants for Student Success

In order to support student success in the Saint Paul Public Schools, the Foundation has three grant programs that encourage innovation and academic excellence. The Foundation provides funding to support teachers, schools, district initiatives and community partners.

Travelers Academic Intervention Grants

Academic Intervention Grants are targeted to community-based organizations that provide intentional academic interventions to students in Saint Paul. Funding for these grants is provided by Travelers. Click to learn more about our Academic Intervention Grants and see the 2011 list of grantees.

Inspired Educator Grants

The Inspired Educator Grant program supports and recognizes excellence in teaching and learning. These grants are intended to improve the quality of the Saint Paul Public School classrooms by funding projects that engage students in critical thinking and problem solving, and deepen students knowledge of standards-based subject matter. The next grant cycle will be the fall of 2011. To learn more, visit the Inspired Educator Grants page.

Enrichment Grants

The Community Education Enrichment Grant program is a partnership between the Saint Paul Public Schools Department of Community Education and the Saint Paul Public Schools Foundation to support enrichment for our students. These grants are available to all Saint Paul Public School employees who are dedicated to inspiring a love of learning through enriching youth programs. Instructors are invited to apply for funds to support after-school, no-school day and summer enrichment programs or to expand the enrichment opportunities during the school day. To learn more, visit the Enrichment Grants page.
